Consortium will be held in three major cities to cover the entire Jiangsu Province – which is the Province with a population of 74 million, 1/4 of the entire US population:

• Nanjing – Province Capital to cover center area of the Province.
• Wuxi– the city close to Shanghai to cover the east part of the Province.
• Xuzhou – the major city in north Jiangsu to cover the northern area.

• The Jiangsu Provincial Ministry of Education of (JPME) is announcing its goal to take an active role in providing a comprehensive program “Jiangsu Educational Outreach Programs – USA (2007 US College Recommendation Consortium)” designed to educate the students, parents and counselors about the higher education opportunities in the United States and to provide the information about the US college searching and application process. 
• The information of the participating colleges will be distributed to the attending students, parents and high school counselors. 
• Introductions and presentations for the US Colleges will be made via DVD, seminar and other formats at the Consortium. 
• Organized information of the US Colleges will be further distributed to the high schools in the entire province through various channels of high schools and the City and Counties government education departments.
• Several conferences and panels will also be held for the US College representatives, the local high schools principles, governmental education officials, representatives of students and parents to exchange information and explore the opportunities to send the best high graduates from Jiangsu to study in the US colleges.
• Over 6,000 -10,000 students and parents are expected to attend our programs
• Over 100,000 are expected to receive the information of your College and other US Universities through our programs, presentations and other channels.

A minimum 1500 applications will be generated from qualified students for 2008.
